S&P 500 has witnessed a record jump in its value in the current year as well as the previous one, backed by a massive bull run at Wall Street. Even when there were serious recession fears, that led to the US Federal Reserve announcing a 50 bps rate cut, S&P 500 kept up with its growth and setting new records.

Is S&P 500’S prospects in danger next year?

When the mandatory ‘September dip’ happened this year, there were concerns that S&P 500 may start demonstrating a downward trend thereafter. However, towards the start of November, things again began coming back on track, and after the announcement of the US Presidential election results, S&P 500 began seeing record highs. If a report is to be believed, a sharp sell-off may put the brakes on S&P 500, and if the routine September dip also adds up to this, one can expect some bad news for this stock index towards the end of 2025.

However, even before that, Fundstrat expects that the S&P 500 can see a minimum of a 16% surge, says a Yahoo Finance report.
