Anticipation for the sequel of ‘Kalki 2898 AD‘ is growing as a new video of Deepika Padukone resuming the shoot for the movie has stirred the internet. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the sequel promises to expand on the dynamic fusion of futuristic and mythological elements that captivated audiences last year.
While wishing Deepika on her birthday yesterday (January 5), the makers of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ took to their Instagram handle and posted a video that ended with a note, “See you soon on the set.” Many of her fans noticed the caption and started celebrating her return to the big screen after welcoming her baby girl, Dua Padukone Singh, on September 8, 2024.

Deepika reportedly took some time off after the birth of her daughter, Dua, in September, and now her return to the shooting sets after becoming a mother is bringing a lot of joy to her fans. One fan wrote, “The Kalki movie is nothing without Deepika’s character,” while another reacted, “When is part 2 coming? Kindly update.”
