Trump orders multiple strikes in Yemen against Iran-backed Houthi rebels

US President Donald Trump launched a series of airstrikes on Yemen’s capital, Sanaa, on Saturday, promising to use “overwhelming lethal force” against Iranian-backed Houthi rebels until they agreed to end their attacks on shipping assets along a vital maritime corridor. At least nine civilians were reportedly killed in the strikes.
